Manjeshwar: Road commuters using the Manjeshwar Railway Gate (Level Crossing No. 291) will have to take alternate routes as the gate will remain closed for ten days due to track renewal work.
The closure will begin at 8:00 AM on April 9 and continue until 6:00 PM on April 18. The railway authorities have announced that the track renewal work will be carried out between Manjeshwar and Ullal Railway Stations at Kilometer 868/800-900.
To ease traffic movement, commuters have been advised to use alternative level crossings at Kanwatheertha Gate (Level Crossing No. 292) and Hosangadi Gate (Level Crossing No. 289).
Authorities have requested road users to plan their travel accordingly and cooperate with the railway department during the maintenance period.
