The incident has led to Byron deleting his LinkedIn profile and stepping down as the company’s CEO, while his wife has dropped the Byron surname across social media.
Cabot is reportedly married to one of the oldest and wealthiest families in Boston and appears to be married to Andrew Cabot, owner of Privateer Rum, as per social media posts.
The Cabot family is reportedly one of the original “Boston Brahmin” lineages, an elite old-money New England clan whose wealth originated in the carbon black industry.
