Sony and PlayStation is going on a concert tour, playing music from its hit titles across the world. The tour, called "PlayStation: The Concert," will travel to over 200 cities worldwide starting in April 2025.
The concerts will showcase music from PlayStation games like God of War , The Last of Us , Ghost of Tsushima , and Horizon . Famous composers for these games, including Bear McCreary and Gustavo Santaolalla , will have their music performed live.
The tour kicks off on April 19, 2025 in Dublin, Ireland. It will then visit cities across Europe, the UK, and the United States. Sony says more locations will be announced soon.
Concerts will feature visual displays and surround sound to recreate scenes from the games. Sony aims to give fans an immersive experience that brings their favourite game moments to life.
"This is more than just a show; it's the ultimate video game concert experience," said Sid Shuman from Sony Interactive Entertainment.
Tickets for European shows go on sale October 18, 2024. Fans can use the code PLAYCONCERT24 for early access starting October 16.
