The first gameplay trailer for Nubia , the newest character joining the game’s roster, has been released. The trailer showcases her abilities and combat style. Nubia's arrival marks another addition to the game's growing lineup of fighters from various Warner Bros. properties. Earlier seasons saw the introduction of characters like the Joker, Agent Smith, Jason Voorhees, Beetlejuice and Samurai Jack. Since its return from break, MultiVersus developers have focused on delivering new content, including events, stages, and characters, to keep the game fresh and engaging.

The latest addition to the MultiVersus roster is Nubia, Queen of the Amazons, who brings her powerful spear and royal abilities to the fray on October 15. Players can unlock this Assassin class character for $9.99, 1,250 Gleamium , or a character ticket (Founder's Pack item). A special "Future Queen: Nubia's Strength Pack" is also available for $29.99, offering additional cosmetic items like an additional skin, announcer pack, taunt and two badges.
Nubia's abilities include energy blasts that knock back enemies, spear attacks that shatter armour, and a grab that throws opponents. Her arrival coincides with the release of a "Destroyed" version of the City of Townsville map.
Nubia is the 31st character to join the MultiVersus lineup, following the recent addition of the Powerpuff Girls. While upcoming additions remain a mystery, previous leaks hint at the possible arrival of fan favourites like Fred Flintstone, the Animaniacs, Raven, and Johnny Bravo.
