Apple 's Beats brand has once again partnered with social media influencer Kim Kardashian to launch a special edition of Beats Pill speaker. The Beats Pill – Kim Special Edition comes in two colour options – Light Grey and Dark Grey. The company says that “this collaboration combines the power of our upgraded portable speaker with Kim’s modern, greyscale tones to elevate your everyday and night.” The special edition comes with a custom grey USB-C charging cable and a removable colour-matched lanyard for on the go.
Kim Kardashian said “I’m excited to be back with my Beats family and to bring two new colours to an iconic product. “Music is a big part of my everyday life, from morning gym sessions to creative brainstorms, and the Beats Pill makes it that much more beautiful.”
Beats Pill – Kim Special Edition price in India
Beats Pill – Kim Special Edition is already available on Apple India store for purchase. It comes with a similar price tag as the standard Beats Pill speaker. Users can buy the special edition for Rs 16,900.
Beats Pill – Kim Special Edition features
The product listing page says that the Beats Pill – Kim Special Edition is “now more powerful, lighter and more portable”. The speaker comes with IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. It is compatible with both Apple and Android, and comes with up to 24 hours of battery life.
The Beats Pill is claimed to come with a bigger, bespoke racetrack woofer that is capable of displacing 90% more air volume, packing more of a punch with deeper, fuller bass. It is equipped with upgraded neodymium magnets that are said to drive the increased air volume displacement, providing 28% greater motor force for bigger, accurate sound. Further, the Beats Pill has a 20-degree upward tilt to help optimise sound delivery towards your head, away from objects that might obstruct them. Coming with Class 1 Bluetooth connectivity, the speaker can also be used to take calls and activate voice assistant directly from your paired Beats Pill.
