53-year-old Mike Tomlin has been with the Pittsburgh Steelers for 18 long years now. Yet, Pittsburgh Steelers ’ former safety Ryan Clark wants Tomlin to step down from the throne. Fun fact? Ryan Clark played for the Steelers from 2006 to 2013! And Mike Tomlin has coached the Steelers since 2007 to date! So, technically speaking, Mike Tomlin’s former pupil, Ryan Clark, wants him to step down from being a head coach to the Steelers? Why? Clark feels Tomlin’s voice has run stale at the Steelers. Clark believes he should be a fresh voice somewhere else, and Tomlin should coach another organization. His list of reasons is endless. Let’s hear him out.

Ryan Clark believes that Mike Tomlin should step away from being a head coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and that it should be his decision
Super Bowl XLIII champion, Ryan Clark, talks about Mike Tomlin on First Take, hosted by Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim. Clark shared,
“The biggest piece to me - the most telling piece about those games is the deficits they(Pittsburgh Steelers) faced in all of those playoff games. So, what is that? Not being prepared? Is that not being talented enough? They have to find the answer.
I say this, and people will get mad at me - I believe that Mike Tomlin is unfireable. I believe Mike Tomlin steps away from being a coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers - that should be his decision. And I’ve said time and time again, I do believe - that should be the decision he makes.”
If the Steelers were to ever cut bait with Mike Tomlin, the line of teams to hire him as their HC would be a mile long.

The NFL Analyst for ESPN , Ryan Clark, reverberated his voice, “I believe that Mike Tomlin should coach another organization. Mike Tomlin should be a fresh voice somewhere else because I believe, as great a coach as he is, he’s a first-ballot Hall of Famer - I believe his voice has run stale there. I believe he’s allowed that team to reach the highest of heights they’re gonna reach in less than they can get a top-tier quarterback. He needs to go have his 'Andy Reid-Kansas City run' on another team.”
