The Women’s Selection Committee on Thursday has picked Team India (Senior Women) squads for the upcoming tour of England. India will play five T20Is and three ODIs in England, starting June 28.
Explosive opening batter Shafali Verma has made a comeback in the T20I side, while Sayali Satghare has been picked in both formats.

Shafali had a great Women's Premier League (WPL), where she amassed 304 runs at a strike rate of 152.76 and forged one of the destructive opener partnership with Delhi Capitals captain Meg Lanning. However, the Lanning-led Capitals faltered again in the final. They have lost the final thrice in as many seasons now.
Earlier this week, India had defeated Sri Lanka by 97 runs to win the women's ODI tri-series at the R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
"Proud of the entire team, especially the batters, we wanted to play good cricket, were looking to bat first if we win the toss and pretty happy with how we played," Harmanpreet said at the presentation ceremony.
India put up an imposing 342/7 batting first and then bowled out Sri Lanka for 245.
Vice-captain Smriti Mandhana was the biggest star of the day as she struck a magnificent hundred to power India's charge before the likes of Jemimah Rodrigues, Sneh Rana, Amanjot Kaur and Harmanpreet herself joined the party.
