Bollywood filmmaker Subhash Ghai has sold two residential apartments in Mumbai's Splender Complex Co-op Housing Society Ltd., Jogeshwari, for a combined sum of Rs 11.61 crore.






Details of the Transaction






According to documents accessed by Square Yards from the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) website, the properties were registered under the name of Mukta Tele Arts Private Limited. The transactions were finalized in March 2025. The residential project, developed by Oberoi Realty, is situated within Splender Complex Co-op Housing Society Ltd.






Property Details






Square Yards obtained IGR property registration documents, revealing that Subhash Ghai sold two apartments. One of these apartments, measuring 889 sq. ft in carpet area, was sold for Rs 5.80 crore. The transaction involved a stamp duty of Rs 34.83 lakh and a registration fee of Rs 30,000.






Second Apartment Sale






In a separate deal, Ghai sold another apartment within the same complex, located on the same floor, for Rs 5.80 crore. The apartment also had a carpet area of 889 sq. ft and incurred the same financial obligations: a stamp duty of Rs 34.83 lakh and a registration fee of Rs 30,000.
