The Celebrity MasterChef kitchen turned into a pressure zone as the top five contestants—Tejasswi Prakash, Nikki Tamboli, Gaurav Khanna, Rajiv Adatia, and Faisu—took on a challenging task set by Chef Saransh Goila. Former contestants Abhijeet Sawant, Usha Nadkarni, and Archana Gautam were present to cheer them on, adding warmth and nostalgia to the intense cook-off.
Faisu impressed everyone with his creativity by presenting a chicken pate mousse with a twist—served alongside ghevar and enhanced with smoke-infused technique. His dish stunned the judges with its innovation and balance. So much so, that Farah Khan humorously named it Mr. Ghevar 07 and awarded it her signature “fork tap” of approval.
Ranveer Brar praised the plating, saying, “Your presentation is absolutely justified. Visually, it is a very good-looking plate.” Vikas Khanna pointed out a minor flaw in the color of the mousse but remained appreciative of the dish’s taste. He even added, “If Saransh likes this dish, it might get introduced in his menu across all 110 restaurants.”
Chef Saransh Goila indeed loved the smoky flavor Faisu infused into the mousse, further validating the effort. But it was Farah Khan who stole the show with her excitement: “If you sell this chicken pate mousse in cans, you’ll become a millionaire,” she declared, giving Faisu a standing ovation with her fork tap. The judges cleaned their plates, a rare and high compliment in the competition.
Meanwhile, Rajiv Adatia, known for his dessert skills, presented a wedding-themed three-tier cake using piping techniques. Though the judges found the look lacking finesse, the flavors impressed them. Farah quipped, “Shaadi toot jayegi aisa wedding cake dekhke.” However, the various flavours that he used for his three-tier cake, earned praises.
With dishes like Faisu’s, the competition is only heating up, making every episode more exciting.
