Actor Siddhant Issar, who tied the knot in a quiet traditional ceremony in Ujjain on April 21, revealed that his original honeymoon plans had to be drastically altered due to unforeseen circumstances. “We had actually planned a trip to Kashmir on April 23 and then return for our reception in Mumbai on May 2. In May, we were supposed to go to Turkey. Call it being lucky—Kashmir was immediately off the charts and even Turkey is off the charts now,” he shared with Times of India TV.

Despite the changes, Siddhant and his wife Surbhi are making the most of their time together. “I have a house in Goa, a family home we've had for 15 years. So, Surbhi and I came here for a mini honeymoon. Our real honeymoon is still on the plate. We’ve been here for 15 days and we plan to go back to Mumbai for my birthday on May 19 and celebrate with family,” he said.

Describing the time spent in Goa, Siddhant added, “I have this house for 15 years and almost like a local. So I know a lot of secret locations, so we got to spend a lot of private time with no one around. We even spent a full moon night stargazing in an abandoned area. It was beautiful, private, and dreamy.”

The actor, who met Surbhi on the sets of Shaitani Rasmein, expressed admiration for his wife. “I loved her as an artist. She’s a trained classical dancer and approaches her work holistically — I love that about her.”

While Turkey is off the list due to geopolitical concerns, the couple now hopes to plan a honeymoon in Greece.

On the professional front, Siddhant revealed, “I’m in talks for some television shows with two leading channels and a regional film. Let’s see how things work out.”
