Apply for admission from May 20

Lucknow: Candidates for undergraduate engineering courses at AKTU can register for admission by May-end and counselling will begin in the second week of Jun. Admission window is likely to open on May 20, with scores from JEE (Advanced), CUET and class 12 being considered for admissions.

This year, AKTU was also going to consider CUET and class 10+2 marks of candidates for admission to engineering courses if seats remained available after merit list of candidates with JEE scores was exhausted, said admission coordinator O P Singh.

"We have directed all colleges to complete the process of renewing their affiliation by Jun 30," said an AKTU official, adding, colleges that failed to renew affiliation as per tentative admission schedule would face consequences. Affiliation will be completed by Jun 30. Counselling will complete in Jul and we aim to start the new session by mid-August.
