If you want to tune into telly without joining expensive platforms such as Sky, then Freeview remains a top choice. This hugely popular platform offers over a hundred channels to watch with everything beamed to screens for free. It's long to been the go-to service for millions of UK homes but it does have some major competition.
Freely, which is actually owned by the same team as Freeview, launched last year and offers a new way to binge on content via the web rather than using an aerial.
There are some big bonuses of Freely, including regular updates, new features and the fact that it is not affected by the weather.
Users can also pause live TV, go back in time using the interactive TV planner and get content reccommendations of the screen.
The only thing that homes wanting to watch freely need is a compatible telly.
Luckily, Amazon's latest Prime Day sale is offering exactly that and at much lower prices than before.
Right now, you can pick up a new Hisense model for just £159. For that money, you get a 32-inch screen, Dolby Atmos audio and full access to Freely.
If that sounds a bit pricey, there's also a 24-inch Toshiba Freely telly for just £129.
We've rounded up some of the best deals from Prime Day 2025, just remember that you will need a Prime account to get the discounts.

These are good deals but don't forget that Freely is a little limited on the content it offers. Those wanting access to sports and movies might find that are still better off switching to platforms such as Sky Glass.
To make this sound more enticing, the premium TV service recently announced the launch of its new Glass Air screen which now starts from just £6 per month.
