The amazing five-day long UK walk that takes you to an incredible whiskey distillery

This beautiful walk will make you feel like you've taken a trip to another country - the scenery is so incredible, many don't realise this is in the UK.

named the walk in Speyside Way from Aviemore to Aberlour as one of the best in the UK.

In total, and it covers an impressive 45 miles.

Located in Scotland, this walk will pass by the River Spey.

Your walk will take you on an adventure through forests and pretty towns, you'll also see the foothills of the Cairngorms and the North Sea.

If you choose to follow the Speyside Way, you'll walk through a broad glen from Aviemore to the historic town of Aberlour.

A notable place to stop and explore along your walk is the Glenfarclas distillery, it offers tours and is open to visitors.

One visitor on Tripadvisor said: "A beautiful distillery. I was extremely impressed with the traditional production of the family-run distillery. Thank you to the team at the distillery who were all very welcoming and a very special mention to Isla, our tour guide. She was amazing! Extremely knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions."

If you're wondering , the zone is well-connected, so you won't struggle. There are buses from Aberlour to Grantown for connections to Aviemore.

Aviemore also has a train station with direct trains to the Central Belt and London.

The walk wouldn't be complete without making the most of what the adorable towns and villages along the way have to offer.

Near Aviemore, you'll find Rothiemurchus - this beautiful natural landscape is at the forefront of wildlife and cultural conservation. It is now one of Scotland's leading tourist attractions and is at the heart of Cairngorms National Park.
