was warned to "take her own advice" by a royal expert.
The Duchess of Sussex came under fire after making public comments during her recent speech at the , where she addressed themes of kindness and resilience.
Lizzie Cundy, a former friend of the Duchess and UK media personality, told that Markle "always plays the victim".
She opined that the Duchess should "take a leaf out of her own book" by showing more kindness.
Cundy's critique comes after Meghan's ongoing comments on the impact of online harassment.
In her SXSW appearance, Meghan shared her experience with online bullying, especially during her pregnancies with Archie and Lilibet.
"It's not catty; it's cruel," she said of the abuse she faced online.
The Duchess added: "Why you would do that? Certainly, when you're pregnant and you have a newborn."
However, Cundy was quick to counter, claiming that Meghan has not extended the same empathy to others, including her own family members.
"She's talking about humanity and being kind," Cundy said, "but she's not shown much kindness to Kate or even to her father or King Charles."
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have had a strained relationship with the Firm since moving to California in 2020 after stepping back from royal duties.
