Manchester United are reportedly in talks to sign Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig this summer. The 22-year-old striker agreed terms with Arsenal earlier this summer, but the Gunners made a transfer U-turn after Leipzig's asking price rose to as much as £86million.
United endured a miserable campaign last time out as they struggled in the Premier League under Erik ten Hag and his successor, Ruben Amorim. The Red Devils ultimately finished the season in 15th position after winning just 11 of their top-flight matches. They also suffered heartache in the Europa League final as they lost to Tottenham. And Amorim will be desperate to bring in more fresh faces after signing Matheus Cunha as his side's only major transfer of the summer so far.
According to TBR Football, Sesko is disappointed to be missing out on a transfer to Arsenal and is now considering his options.
And Sesko's team have been in contact with United to keep the Red Devils abreast of his situation.
Meanwhile, Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle have also been contacted, while the Slovenia international could even decide to remain at Leipzig beyond the end of the summer transfer window.

Sesko joined Leipzig from RB Salzburg two years ago and has gone on to bag 39 goals in 87 appearances for the German club.
He netted four goals in the Champions League last season, despite the fact that his team lost seven of their eight matches as they exited the competition at the group stages.
The player's imposing frame, pace and eagerness to press opposition defenders would make him an ideal fit for the Premier League, and his eye for goal has clearly attracted plenty of suitors.
Arsenal attempted to sign Sesko last summer, but the star opted to stay in Germany and sign a fresh contract.
And the forward explained at the time: "I thought it through very well. I believe I made the right decision. I wanted to gain more experience, learn more, and not rush things.
"Leipzig is an excellent club that can provide what I need for the next step. Leipzig's vision is clear - everything is geared towards growth, progress, and high goals. I felt it was right to decide this way."
If United could get their hands on Sesko, he would surely become a key part of Amorim's starting team immediately.
Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee have both been linked with exits after struggling to make an impact at Old Trafford. And the arrival of Sesko would give the Red Devils a renewed impetus in front of goal.
