fans were left in stitches as one contestants shared their fruity plans with their impressive winnings.
During Wednesday's visit (October 16) to the studios, Bradley Walsh welcomed four new contestants onto the show.
As viewers tuned in to the primetime show, the 64-year-old TV star welcomed Kevin, Austin, Samantha and Philomena onto the programme to put their general knowledge to the test.
The quartet went up against Jenny 'The Vixen' Ryan as she brought her A game for the intelligent bunch. First up to the podium was Philomena, who raked in an impressive £6,000, followed by Samantha who added a further £1,000 to the jackpot.
Next up was university student Austin who added £4,000 from his nail-biting round before final contestant Kevin took his place at the podium.
Before the player went head-to-head with the fiery redhead, the telly veteran asked him what he planned to do with his winnings if he was successful.
It was at this point that the amateur comic revealed that he would be "soundproofing his bedroom". It didn't take long before fans of the quiz show flooded to X - formerly known as Twitter - to chuckle at his cheeky comment online.
One user penned: "'I want to soundproof the bedroom...' that's one hell of a boast!! #thechase" as another chuckled: "Kevin wants to soundproof his bedroom #TheChase."
A third giggled: "Soundproofing the bedroom. I wonder why! #TheChase" as a fourth echoed: "Soundproof the bedroom [two cry-laughing emojis] what a guy #TheChase."
All four contestants successfully made it through to the final round on the show with an impressive £19,000 saved in their jackpot.
The broadcaster then asked the team a series of general knowledge questions in two minutes, with the group answering an incredible 19 correct answers before the time ran out.
Next up for the challenge was Jenny who struggled to beat the team of four, who successfully pushed her back three times in the jaw-dropping final.
Ultimately, the chaser failed to catch the team, missing out by just one correct answer as the group celebrated with a group hug as they took home their impressive winnings.
The Chase airs on weeknights from 5pm on ITV1 or catch up on ITVX.
