Grace series five made its explosive return on Sunday night.
The hit ITV crime drama, which is based on the books of Peter James, saw a series of dramatic storylines unfold during the latest instalment.
The episode saw DS Roy Grace, played by John Simm, navigate the aftermath of Sandy Grace's suicide, his newfound son Bruno, and a profound personal loss in his and Cleo Moray's, played by Zoë Tapper, life.
During the explosive scenes, the team were called to a Sussex beach where an unidentified male body washed up dead in a barrel and the very same morning a Brighton football stadium received a chilling anonymous demand while being faced with an impossible decision.
Roy, who was at the match bonding with Bruno, found himself locked in a frantic race to save thousands of lives.
Talking about the first episode on Monday's This Morning, hosts Dermot O'Leary and Siân Welby spoke to Grace stars Richie Campbell and Zoë Tapper, who play DS Glenn Branson and Cleo Moray.
While discussing the first episode, the two stars admitted they weren't allowed to name the football stadium they shot at.
Richie said on filming the first episode: "Each episode is five weeks, basically, but that football sequence was a week and we had to get it in that week.
"It's the only time we had the stadium, the supporting artists, everything all that, so it was very full on!"
Presenter Siân then asked if they had used hundreds of extras for the football stadium scenes or if it was 'cheated cleverly'.
Richie explained: "We did have a few extras but it was cheated quite a bit, luckily, we're not allowed to say the stadium we shot in but football season had just ended so we had full reign of it. We were running up and down the whole time!"
Grace continues on Sunday night at 8pm on ITV and ITV X while This Morning continues on weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV X.
