Boiled eggs makes a perfect food item as they offer a range of nutritional benefits with essential protein and vitamins. While they are extremely easy to make, sometimes, it takes a one perfect trick to result in the perfect boiled eggs.
Experts from allrecipes shared a four-step method that will give you a "perfect" boiled egg every time you make it. The experts explained: "Very fresh eggs are delicious fried or scrambled, but older eggs are actually easier to peel. Your best bet for hard-boiled eggs that are easy to peel is to choose eggs you have had in the refrigerator for a week or two." The experts highlighted that the four-step method will prevent over-cooking the eggs.

The experts have guaranteed that after trying this method, cooking enthusiasts will "never have to deal with dry, chalky, overcooked eggs with weirdly greenish yolks again".
As a first step, eggs should be placed in a saucepan or a pot and covered with cold water. The point here to keep in mind is to put the eggs first and water later.
The experts explained: "Because if you put the eggs in afterward, they might crack as they fall to the bottom of the pan. It's no fun to learn this the hard way."
The second step is to place the pan over high heat and then bring the water to boil. Once done, remove the pan from the heat and cover it with a lid.
And for the most important part, the expert revealed how long an egg should be boiled for the perfect results.
They said: "You want the water to come just to a boil but not stay there. Eggs exposed to high heat for a long time go through a chemical reaction that turns the yolks green."
This means it is best not to boil eggs for too long. According to the experts, drain eggs immediately and then put them in a bowl filled with water and ice cubes.
They explained: "It cools the eggs down and prevents the green yolk problem. (Chilled water isn't cold enough-you want cold water with lots of ice cubes floating in it.) If you're planning to peel the eggs, crack them slightly before putting them in the ice water and let them sit for an hour for maximum ease of peeling."
