BBC Breakfast welcomed I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! winner Harry Redknapp onto the show this morning, where he shared some "very scary" health news about his wife Sandra Harris. The former Premier League manager says his beloved wife was diagnosed with sepsis, which "is a killer".
Harry - who always waxed lyrical about his wife during his time in the ITV jungle - admitted things started with Sandra simply "not feeling well" but unsure where exactly the problem lay. He explained: "She got some antibiotics, and thought maybe she had a bit of flu coming or a headache and just felt under the weather that day.
"She didn't get any better so we went and got some more antibiotics, then suddenly it spiralled a bit from there. The problem is I didn't know what sepsis was, really, it was all new to me. Even now there are so many people out there who don't realise what sepsis is."
Sandra initially developed the condition in 2018 after a kidney infection, and now the star has teamed up with the UK Sepsis Trust to increase awareness of the condition and help "get lifesaving information in front of as many people as possible".

"If you feel unwell and you've got symptoms - clamminess, headache, and just feel under the weather - you've got to get in touch with the doctor, because look at the results, what happened to [MP Craig Mackinlay], he was very lucky to even survive." Mackinlay had all four of his limbs amputated after battling sepsis and falling into an induced coma.
Harry continued: "You know, it is a killer. 50,000 people died of it last year and as we said earlier, that's more than three of the major cancers put together.
"It's vital if you don't feel good, get to the doctor and get treatment. You can come through it okay, but we have to be aware what sepsis is and it is a killer for sure."
