The Uttar Pradesh government, led by Yogi Adityanath, has officially approved plans for the development of New Noida, a meticulously designed city located next to Greater Noida. This ambitious project is set to encompass 84 villages across the Gautam Buddha Nagar and Bulandshahr districts, with a target completion date of 2041.

New Noida will be constructed in four distinct phases, with the first phase kicking off this year. The development will be part of the Dadri Noida Ghaziabad Investment Region (DNGIR) and will include residential neighborhoods, commercial areas, industrial zones, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and markets, among other essential infrastructures.

Phases of Development Phase One (2024-2028):

The initial phase is set to begin in 2024, aiming for the acquisition of 1,432.71 hectares of land directly from landowners. The focus will be on creating major roads and connecting routes.

Phase Two (2028-2034):

Scheduled to start in late 2028, this phase will concentrate on developing the northern and southern sections of the city, covering 15% of the total planned area, which amounts to 3,136.69 hectares.

Phase Three (2033-2039):

This phase will likely commence before the previous one concludes. It will prioritize the establishment of commercial units, trade centers, and industrial sectors along the Eastern Peripheral Railway Line, targeting 28% of land development, or approximately 5,908 hectares.

Phase Four (2037-2043):

The final phase, commencing in late 2037 and concluding in late 2043, will focus on enhancing the industrial zones, public spaces, and residential communities in the southern part of the city. This phase will support the growth of the southern areas developed in Phase One.

The development of New Noida is expected to significantly boost the regional economy and improve the quality of life for its residents.
