Crime: The wife was addicted to watching porn and used to call her husband eunuch, now High Court has given this decision

While hearing a case, the Punjab and Haryana High Court gave a historic verdict saying that if a wife calls her husband a eunuch, it is mental cruelty. 

A division bench of Justice Sudhir Singh and Justice Jasjit Singh Bedi on July 12 passed a divorce order in favor of the husband in a family court and remarked while hearing the wife's appeal. The woman's mother-in-law informed that she used to call her husband a eunuch. The couple got married in 2017.

While hearing the case, the bench said that whatever the woman had said was cruel. The court said that calling a husband a eunuch or telling a mother that she has given birth to a eunuch is extremely cruel. 

Wife was addicted to watching porn

In the divorce petition, the husband also alleged that the wife used to sleep late at night and wake up late in the morning and would ask his ailing mother to send food from the ground floor to the first floor. The wife was addicted to watching porn. In his petition, the man also alleged that the wife would ask him to record the duration of physical intercourse and also said that "it should last for at least 10-15 minutes at a time and it should happen at least three times a night."

The wife denied all the allegations and said that her husband threw her out of the house. She also said that her in-laws used to give her sleeping pills and when she was in deep sleep, they got amulets made by a Tantrik and made her wear them. She was given water to drink which would keep her under control. 

In this case, the High Court said that the husband and wife have been living separately for the last 6 years. And it is impossible to bring them together. In such a situation, the court rejected the wife's appeal and upheld the decision of the family court.
