Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses, made in partnership between Meta and Ray-Ban, have now been launched in India. These smart glasses combine Ray-Ban's classic frame designs with Meta's AI technology and smart hardware, allowing users to do many things like making hands-free calls, streaming media, capturing photos and videos, and getting real-time information from Meta AI via voice commands.

It has been introduced in two frame styles, one of which is Wayfarer - Standard and Large, and the other is Skyler. It will have two options for lenses - Sun, Clear, and Polarized. These glasses have a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens with which you will be able to record video at 1080p, although this recording will be up to a maximum of 60 seconds. It has open-ear speakers and five microphones so that you can make calls. This smart glass also does real-time translation. It supports English, French, Italian, and Spanish languages.
There will be a direct connection with Instagram.
Meta has announced that with the upcoming updates, users will be able to send and receive messages on Instagram, send photos, and make audio/video calls through these glasses. Connectivity has been provided with both iOS and Android via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Apart from this, integration with WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram will be available soon. Regarding the battery, four hours of active battery life is claimed.
A total of 36 hours of use is possible with the charging case. With this, with the help of Meta View and Meta AI apps, users can manage content, continue AI conversations, and also edit photos through AI. The starting price of Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses in India has been kept at Rs 29,900, and they are available for pre-order from today.
