You might think that a tortoise would be quite easy to spot, as they tend to be large animals that don't blend in too well among bright green grass, but the animal you're looking for is a lot smaller than you might expect.

If you want to consider yourself a genius, you'll need to find the tortoise within just 10 seconds, so set yourself a timer and get searching!

Don't worry if it takes you a bit longer, however, as you'll still be giving your brain a workout no matter how long it takes you. And the more you practice with similar puzzles, the quicker you'll be able to spot hidden objects in future ones.

Answer

The tortoise is actually tiny, and you'll probably need to zoom in to see it properly. But you can find it lurking on the right-hand side of the image, just underneath the cluster of bright green leaves.

If you imagine a clock in the centre of the picture, the tortoise would be at around 2 o'clock. It's a tiny creature, but you can just about make out the patterns of its shell poking out from among the grass.
