Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck look like a couple again as they get very cosy

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have joined forces once again as they took to the red carpet for the Kiss of the Spider Woman premiere. The couple's divorce was finalisedlast year after two years married, but they appeared to put their differences to one side as they stood side by side at the event in New York.

Ben, 53, was seen smiling as he wrapped his arm around the waist of his ex-wife, 56. The pair looked in good mood as they posed for snaps and enjoyed intimate chat on their first return to a red carpet together since their split.

Ben was seen wearing his trademark suit and open-buttoned white shirt. J-Lo, meanwhile, opted for a figure-hugging brown floral print gown with an exaggerated corset.

The pair's cosy-looking appearance comes as Jennifer stars in the production, while Ben serves as an executive producer. The company he shares with Matt Damon, Artist Equity, helped produce the film. Other stars at the premiere included Laverne Cox and Whoopi Goldberg.

Fans were quick to speculate over Jen and Ben's appearance on social media. Taking to Twitter/X, one fan claimed: "They are going home together."

Another had a similar train of thought, saying: "Lord…they’re gonna start this all over again." And a third added: "There's some interesting body language going on there!"

The duo had fans jumping for joy when they got back together and tied the knot in July 2022. It came decades after they first got engaged in 2022.

However, at the time things didn't exactly go to plan. And the same scenario panned out decades later with the pair separating after two years of marriage.

After calling it quits in April last year, they filed for divorce in August 2024. Their split became official in January this year. During their time together, they managed to successfully blend their brood of kids from previous relationships. Ben and his ex Jennifer Garner share Violet, Fin, and Samuel. Meanwhile, Jennifer shares twins Max and Emme with former husband Marc Anthony.

And now it appears as though the couple formerly known as Bennifer have been able to keep things amicable at least. And Ben explained in April how he switches off from any negative input into their failed marriage.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the time, he said: "Listen, I don’t read the stuff online much, and sometimes I get the sense that people perpetuate this idea of - they want to find something negative to talk about.

"And look, Jennifer Lopez is spectacular. Great to my kids, great ongoing relationship with them. I love her kids, they’re wonderful.”

He went on: "She’s enormously important. Tremendous person with a lot of integrity who I adore and am grateful to. I’m thrilled that the kids are here with me, and that’s the kind of thing - those relationships you have with children like that - joy in my life."
