Finding supplements, particularly for women, that will help with training, meeting fitness goals and give the best results can be difficult. A lot of supplements may only be tailored toward a certain demographic, leaving others lost and not knowing exactly what to buy.
The Hembrow sisters, Tammy, Emilee and Amy, are best known for their global influence across the fitness, wellbeing and motherhood space and have first hand experience of wanting supplements that will tailor to their lifestyles. The three have now launched Selfish - the female-first sports nutrition brand which is landing at Boots.
The brand, which is described as a modern sports nutrition designed for real women and real routines, has launched with seven formulated products that cover the full spectrum of women's every day health needs. Tammy, one of the world's leading fitness creators, says: "Fitness isn't just about hitting PB's or dropping dress sizes. It's about showing up for you."

The collection includes plenty of products designed to help with the goals and challenges faced by many women. For example, there's the Give Me Plant Protein for £24.65, described as a smooth and creamy vegan protein powder with 20g of lean plant protein per serving.
It also comes in French Vanilla and Rich Chocolate flavours and is designed to help women with strength, toning, and post-workout recovery. To get best results with this protein, shoppers just need to mix or shake one scoop into 250ml of water and enjoy post-workout, or anytime a protein boost is needed.
Another option is Balance My Gut which is a refreshing blue-greens gut health powder designed to help debloat, aid digestion and support users' gut microbiome. It comes in the flavour Blueberry Bliss, in a 240g tub which contains up to 30 servings. This product works to de-bloat, aids in digestion, nourishes the gut microbiome, supports overall health and immunity and non-gritty micro blue and phyto-greens powder.
There is also the Give Me Protein Water which is a light, fast-absorbing vegan protein water for a hydrating hit of hydrolysed plant protein for strength, toning and recovery. Coming in the flavours VeryBerry and Tropical Crush, the 300g tub offers 15 servings. This product is said to support muscle tone, strength and repair, daily protein targets, complete amino acid profile, lean hydrolysed plant protein and a non-gritty, fast-absorbing formula.
Last but not least is I Want Energy, an extra-juicy pre-workout with BCAAs for performance, stamina and focus - minus the crash afterwards. This comes in a juicy watermelon flavour, offers up to 30 servings and is said to give sustained, long-lasting endurance, a feeling of alertness and focus and has clean, effective ingredients.
If this brand isn't quite what shoppers are after, there are many other options out there. For example, there's the Impact Whey Protein Powder for £13.99 from My Protein which comes in a range of flavours, and offers 23g of protein in every scoop.
Another option is Wellwoman Vitabiotics Wellwoman 50+ 30 Tablets from Holland and Barrett for £10.49 which is said to help support the brain, heart and eyes and is suitable for vegetarians.
Shoppers have, however, rated the Selfish brand with a high 4.9 out of 5 star rating on their website. One shopper said: "I like it. It's so refreshing and it's one of my favourite supps now."
Another customer said: "As someone who has tried a lot of vegan and plant proteins out there, this is by far the best. Both the vanilla and chocolate taste amazing in smoothies or just with water and ice. No chalky texture at all. I have it every day."
Not everyone felt the same, however, as one person wrote: "One scoop is a bit too selfish. It needs a couple for it to really make a difference in taste."
"Amazing and enjoyable to drink," said another shopper.
However, for women looking to get the most out of their busy, active lives, Selfish's range of supplements designed specifically for women could be the perfect choice.
