Pushpa star Allu Arjun, now a global name in Indian cinema, has revealed the powerful mindset that fueled his meteoric rise: absolute commitment. Speaking at the WAVES 2025 Summit in Mumbai, the actor shared that he has never believed in fallback options.
“Either I do everything or I do nothing. There’s no Plan B in my life,” Allu Arjun declared, responding to a question from TV9 CEO and MD Barun Das.
Das observed that Allu Arjun seems to throw himself fully into everything he does—and wondered if he ever kept a backup plan ready, as often advised in management theory.
But Arjun’s reply was clear and honest:
“If I didn’t have it in me to give everything, I’d rather sit at home and relax. Today, there are so many people in so many fields—designers, photographers—everyone has a different journey. But for me, it’s all or nothing.”
The ‘Pushpa’ Phenomenon Changed His Life
Reflecting on the massive success of Pushpa 2, which earned ₹1850 crore globally, Allu Arjun admitted that the film transformed his life.
“I used to be known in the South, especially in Telugu-speaking states. But after Pushpa, people across India recognize me. My face is familiar now, thanks to the love of the audience.”
From Regional Star to Pan-India Icon
Once considered primarily a Telugu film actor, Allu Arjun is now a true pan-India superstar, with global recognition and one of the biggest hits in Indian cinema to his name.
His success story isn’t just about talent—it’s about absolute belief, relentless passion, and never having a safety net.
