According to the data released by the Health Ministry, at present there are 397 active cases of corona in Gujarat, 311 in Karnataka, 1416 in Kerala, 494 in Maharashtra, 138 in UP, 393 in Delhi, 215 in Tamil Nadu and 372 in West Bengal. According to the Health Department, many people are not getting tested due to mild symptoms, due to which the real figures are not coming out. Doctors say that even though this situation may not be as serious as it was in the first wave, taking it lightly can be dangerous.
Changes in symptoms
Dr Deepak Kumar Suman at Safdarjung Hospital says that this time a slight change is being seen in the symptoms of Covid. While earlier fever, sore throat and loss of taste or smell were common, now symptoms like cough, mild fever, sore throat, body pain and fatigue are being seen more. Due to this, many people are ignoring it thinking it to be a normal viral. However, there is nothing to worry about, because the symptoms are similar to normal flu.
Expert warned
Well-known epidemiologist Dr. Jugal Kishore said that people need to be cautious again. He said, "Even though the effect of corona is not as it was before, there is still a need to be cautious. People with weak immunity, the elderly and people with pre-existing diseases should be especially cautious." He also said that crowded places should be avoided and if necessary, go out wearing a mask.
