In a shocking case from Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, a man was brutally tortured and murdered by his girlfriend's family after he visited her home at night. The crime has left even the police shaken due to its sheer savagery.
Nails Pulled, Burnt With Tongs, and Killed in Cold BloodThe victim, Binu Raidas, a resident of Samiyana village under Ghazipur police station, was a painter by profession and physically disabled in one leg. Though married with two daughters, he was allegedly involved in an extramarital affair with a woman from his in-laws’ village.
On the night of the incident, Binu had gone to his girlfriend’s house after she called him over. But waiting for him there was not affection — it was a well-planned ambush by her enraged family members.
According to police reports, Binu was first beaten with sticks, then tortured mercilessly. His fingernails and toenails were ripped out with pliers, hot tongs were used to burn his body, and a screwdriver was inserted into his nose and ears, causing him to die in unbearable pain.
Eight Booked for Murder, Two DetainedWhen the police recovered Binu’s body, they were horrified at its condition. The corpse bore signs of extreme torture. Binu's family was informed, and his body was sent for postmortem.
Following a complaint from the victim’s relatives, a murder case was filed against eight individuals, including:
- Satyendra Vishwakarma
- Bachol Devi (his wife)
- Ajay (their son)
- Roli Devi (their daughter)
- Sunita, Pankaj, and two unidentified people
Two of the accused have already been detained for questioning.
A Love Affair Turned FatalBinu had reportedly met the woman while visiting his in-laws’ village. Their relationship angered her family, especially since Binu was already married. His decision to visit her at night turned fatal.
