UP Police Recruitment 2025: Eligibility criteria
Educational Qualification: Graduate degree in any field.
Not Eligible: Candidates awaiting results or currently appearing for final exams.
Age Limit:
General & EWS: 21–31 years
SC, ST & OBC: 21–36 years
Special Relaxation: One-time 3-year age relaxation for all categories due to COVID-19 delays and past recruitment gaps (expected to benefit around 5 lakh candidates).
Physical Requirements:
Male: Minimum height 168 cm (160 cm for ST), chest 79 cm (unexpanded) & 84 cm (expanded).
Female: Minimum height 152 cm (147 cm for ST), minimum weight 40 kg.

Note: OBC/EWS caste certificates must be issued between April 1, 2025, and September 11, 2025

Step 1: Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR).
Step 2: Log in and fill out the application form with required details.
Step 3: Pay the application fee.
Step 4: Submit the form.
Step 5: Download and print the form for future reference.
UP Police Recruitment 2025: Selection process
Step 1 – Written Exam:
- OMR-based, 400 marks.
- Subjects: General Hindi, Law & Constitution, Mental & Numerical Ability, Logical Reasoning.
- Minimum qualifying marks: 35% in each section and 50% overall.
Step 2 – Document Verification (DV)
Step 3 – Physical Measurement Test (PST)
Step 4 – Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Additionally, the board has strongly cautioned against using performance-enhancing substances during PET. Candidates will be disqualified and subject to legal action if they are discovered to be using such substances.
