Machhlishahr MP Priya Saroj of the Samajwadi Party and Indian cricketer Rinku Singh have finalized wedding plans, with ceremonies scheduled across Uttar Pradesh. The couple will hold their ring ceremony on June 8 at a Lucknow venue, followed by a traditional wedding ceremony at Varanasi's Taj Hotel on November 18.
Saroj, a first-time parliamentarian and practicing advocate, represents the Machhlishahr constituency. Rinku Singh, an Aligarh native, plays for Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League. The alliance was formally announced earlier this year by Saroj's father, Kerakat MLA Tufani Saroj, who confirmed mutual family consent for the union.
Event organizers anticipate attendance from political leaders, cricket personalities, and entertainment industry figures. Preparations are underway for both ceremonies, with security and logistical arrangements being coordinated between Lucknow and Varanasi district administrations.
