PM Modi condemned the terror attack

Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to Delhi from Saudi Arabia after a two-day visit. He skipped the official dinner hosted by the Saudi government and arrived in Delhi shortly afterward. Upon his return, he held a brief meeting with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, and other officials.

Among the deceased were two foreign nationals, a businessman from Karnataka, and several others.

According to reports, the Kashmir police stated that gunfire was heard in the upper meadows of the Pahalgam tourist resort in Jammu and Kashmir.
