Feeling top of the world: Kedar Jadhav

After the title win, Southern Super Stars skipper came forward and highlighted how delighted he was with the title win. He admitted to feeling at the top of the world and credited the whole team for the performance as well.

“Feeling top of the world and I mean it because we are at a high altitude place. Credit to the whole team, coaches and management who were amazing throughout the tournament. It was a thrilling finish and fit for a finale, it's great for the audience to watch such matches. Yusuf batted well, but our bowlers got us back into the game, and we ended up on the winning side. Going with Hamid, was the easiest decision because the opposition finds him difficult to face,” Jadhav said in the post-match presentation ceremony.

We still had a chance: Irfan Pathan

Furthermore, Konark Suryas Odisha skipper Irfan Pathan had a lot to say about his side’s performance in the summit clash as well. He opined that the team was happy with their score in the super over, but Guptill’s brilliant form was too much to handle for them.

“We still had a chance. Anything above 10 in a super over is good. Pathania missed out on a yorker and Guptill was brilliant in form. He would never miss out on those,” Pathan said.
