WWE SmackDown results April 4: The latest episode of WWE SmackDown proved to be a star-studded and memorable affair. CM Punk, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns were under the same roof again ahead of their Triple Threat Match at WrestleMania 41. Moreover, Kevin Owens delivered some shocking news to the WWE Universe merely weeks before ‘The Show of Shows’. Additionally, Jacob Fatu picked up an impressive win over Braun Strowman in a ‘Last Man Standing’ match. 


CM Punk stumps Roman Reigns

Paul Heyman owed a favour to CM Punk as the ‘Second City Saint’ had helped Roman Reigns at Wargames on his request. Tonight, he utilised it and asked OTC’s Wiseman to be in his corner at ‘Mania 41. Paul Heyman agreed to it, leaving Reigns furious. Following this, Punk attacked the former ‘Big Dog’ as Seth Rollins looked on. 

In another major development, Kevin Owens revealed that he will soon be undergoing a neck surgery. He further confirmed that he will not be able to compete at WrestleMania 41 where he was to take on Randy Orton in a grudge match. Following this, ‘The Viper’ hit Nick Aldis–the SmackDown GM– with an RKO. 


Jacob Fatu brutalises Braun Strowman

Coming to the in-ring action, Jacob Fatu and Braun Strowman put on a classic ‘Last Man Standing’ match to determine the #1 Contender for LA Knight’s US title. Both men hit each other with everything but the kitchen sink. Eventually Jacob Fatu won after putting ‘The Monster of Monsters’ through a table and making it impossible for him to answer the 10 count. Additionally, Rey Fenix made his WWE debut with an impressive match in which he beat NXT’s Nathan Frazer.

Additionally, Charlotte and Tiffany were interviewed by Wade Barrett ahead of WrestleMania 41 where ‘The Queen’ will take on the ‘Tiffy’ for her Women’s title.
