Delhi Police Head Constable Recruitment 2025: The online application process for recruitment to the post of Head Constable (Ministerial) in the Delhi Police by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is in its final stages. A total of 509 vacancies will be filled under this recruitment drive. The last date for submitting the online application fee is October 20, 2025. The correction window for making amendments to the application form will be open from October 27 to 29, 2025. According to the notification issued by the Commission, the first stage of the recruitment computer-based examination may be held in December 2025 or January 2026.
Educational Qualification and Age Limit
Candidates applying for this position must have passed Class 12th or its equivalent from a recognized board.
Candidates must also have a typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi.
Regarding the age limit, candidates applying must be between 18 and 25 years of age. Candidates in the OBC category will be given a 3-year age relaxation, while those in the SC/ST category will be given a 5-year age relaxation. Age will be calculated as of July 1, 2025.
Application Fee
The application fee for General and OBC category candidates is ₹100. No fee will be charged for female candidates, SC/ST candidates, ex-servicemen, and PWBD candidates.
