BPSC exam 2025: The time has come for the 71st Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination (BPSC Prelims Exam 2025) of the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). This prestigious exam is going to be held today, i.e., on 13th September, all over Bihar. This time, a total of 4 lakh 70 thousand candidates will try their luck. Let us tell you that this exam is for 1250 posts. Given that there are about 376 contenders for each post, it is clear that the competition is going to be very tough.
Exam timing and entry rules
The exam will be conducted in a single shift from 12 noon to 2 pm. Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination centers from 9:30 am. Candidates should keep in mind that no one will be allowed to enter the examination center after 11 am.
So it is important to arrive on time. Apart from this, no candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall during the duration of the examination (from 12 noon to 2 pm).
Strict security arrangements and administrative monitoring
To make the examination completely fair and transparent, the Bihar Public Service Commission and the state administration have made strict security arrangements. A total of 912 examination centers have been set up in 37 districts across Bihar, where strict monitoring will be done. Many senior officials, including District Magistrate (DM), Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), and Additional District Magistrate (ADM) will be present at the examination centers themselves.
95 static magistrates and 37 zonal magistrates have been deployed to prevent any kind of irregularity. Apart from this, police and armed forces personnel will also be doing continuous checking at all the examination centers so that any unauthorized activity can be prevented.
