Big Brother viewers beg for housemate to 'get out' after nomination twist

Send Push

Big Brother fans demanded one contestant 'get out' after a nail-biting twist saw one duo saved from the chopping block and another put at risk.

As the newly crowned heads of house, Ali and Dean had the task of pairing up their housemates. In these pairs, they would face nominations together, but only one would ultimately leave the house in a public vote.

Initially, Ali and Dean matched Lily with Hanah in what appeared to be a strategy to shield young Lily, the 20-year-old from Warrington, from eviction for a second consecutive week. However, their plan went awry when both found themselves on the brink of an exit alongside Nathan and Izaaz.

In a shocking turn, granted the heads of house the power to rescue one pair and nominate another or issue their own devastating nomination.

Choosing to save Hanah and Lily, they nominated Khaled and Marcello for eviction instead, reports .

The decision sparked intense discussions among the housemates, especially since Ali had previously clashed with both Khaled and Marcello.

An emotional Ali broke down as she disclosed the decision to the rest of the house, later confiding to Sarah: "It's really tough because I've had beef with Marcello and Khaled and everyone will think that's why their up."

Khaled sought out Ali, aiming for a fresh understanding after he faced a similar predicament with a killer nomination the previous week.

Ali accused him of point scoring and then told him to face the cameras, saying that's "who you're playing to" before declaring that bridges were burnt between them.

The Sun reported that fans expressed their outrage at Ali's actions, with one commenting: "What an actual manipulating horror Ali is! Get her out!".

Another viewer vented on X, previously known as : "It's funny how Ali talks about Khaled's 'image management', when Ali herself is doing the same by going around the housemates pretty much telling them Dean was the one who made the decisions, so that she doesn't look like the bad person!".

One fan didn't hold back, stating: "Well aware people will come for me but I can't STAND Ali, such a gas lighter! 'You're point scoring', GIRLLL you're gaslighting! She is dangerously calculated."

On ITV's Big Brother Late and Live, Ali's sister claimed that the tension between Ali and Khaled originated from a comment Khaled made to Hanah about 'being aggy' earlier in the series.

As the housemates continued to discuss the aftermath of the decision, they once again broke the rules about nominations. Their penalty was not only losing their luxury shopping budget but also being subjected to live on basic rations of just porridge.

Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
