Bhopal: An auto-rickshaw driver, who was critically injured after allegedly being hit by a speeding SUV in the Ashoka Garden area, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at AIIMS hospital on Thursday.
According to police, the deceased, Shubham Kataria, 40, hailed from Jabalpur. He resided in Raj Samrat Colony, Ashoka Garden, and worked as an auto-rickshaw driver. On the night of April 9, at around 9:15 PM, Shubham was driving his auto on JK Road. When he reached near the Maruti Suzuki Arena showroom, a speeding SUV hit his vehicle from the right side. Police are currently making efforts to arrest the accused driver. Further probe is on.
